67-68th Week Out, Week 3-4 Puerto Iguazu "OH THE POWER OF LEMON BARS"

Hey!

I'm doing great!

My area is neat!

I think the only thing I struggle with is getting people to come to church. I can get them all excited about the Restoration and plenty of other things. But I can't get them to come to church. I've tried everything even to bribing them with sugary desserts... :D

But yea, that's a challenge!

I am teaching my neighbors once again :)
That's a story actually! It's a family of 4. 2 little girls. One of the little girls is 11ish years old or around there. I noticed that she is really interested in what the jeebers we do in this really fancy clothing! We gave her a little card, and then I believe that's where it all started. She actually took that card and gave it to one of her friends! She then told us about it with much excitement another day! (her family is catholic). One day we decide to make the famous lemon bars and bring them over to the Sister missionaries after a hard day, and we find that the aunt of this little girl (ok the little girl is named Lara) Lara was THERE! Her aunt's house is right across the street from the Sisters apartment! And I invited her to try the lemon bars and grab a plate to share it with her family inside! OH THE POWER OF LEMON BARS! She comes back with nothing. They ate like half the batch in 2 minutes... It was a party too that they were having at her aunt's house! A few people would walk out to leave every few minutes and tell us how delicious it was! :)  And Lara was very happy about it! Then the very next day I believe it was, we find her walking out of her grandma's house!! And she jumps right on over to shake my hand and ask me how I'M doing! And we walked with her and her mom back to our apartments because it was the end of the day. I talked with the Mom the whole way and fixed up a social status there so we could try and teach them when we got back! AND OH MY GOODNESS! So I'm just thinking there as we go What a bright little girl! She is just screaming at us with her spirit saying HEY! I WANT MY FAMILY IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD! That was confirmed as we got close to our door! She RAN over and said WAIT WAIT! You guys always go in there and don't come back out! I've been wanting to sit down with you guys and drink Tererè outside! (tererè is just an herb drink that everyone drinks here, and when you drink it with someone its a symbol of friendship! Like you are now accepted into their house whenever! Ha!) So she said that and then said CAN I SHOW YOU MY BIBLE BOOK! (she had a picture book of the bible!) And I was like UM YES! And she wips out some seats for us really fast and says SIT HERE! And I'm just thinking over and over, SHE IS DOING THE MISSIONARY WORK for her very own family!

Bueno, long story short, that little girl may be the reason why her whole family gets brought into the truth! Tonight we will teach them the restoration!

OH MY GOODNESS! She wanted to give me a hug after we were done that night, which was last night!? I DIED INSIDE WHEN I SAID NO BECAUSE: IM A FLIPPING MISSIONARY!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

My soul made that sound last night, but tomorrow I will do my best to help this great child of God trying to get her family into the light!

Impressions of Puerto Iguazu:
When you invite someone to come to church and they get super excited about it but then they say, "I'll ask my Pastor if I can go visit your church" ........................................    ;) no
